O ato de recolher-se, entretanto, \u00e9 bastante diferente do ato de encolher-se, de espremer-se e ficar menor. O recolhimento significa dirigir nossos sentidos para dentro e, dessa forma, expandir nosso mundo interno. Durante uma de nossas aulas de yoga online, o professor Pedro Pessoa contou-nos uma hist\u00f3ria para compreendermos melhor esse movimento de recolhimento.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">H\u00e1 muitos e muitos anos, Indra, o rei dos deuses, convidou o Senhor Shiva para visitar seu reino. Para tornar o momento especial, o monarca convocou todas as criaturas de todos os mundos para mostrarem suas artes ao Deus do yoga. Honradas, elas se prepararam com entusiasmo e seguiram para o reino.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Quando Shiva chegou, come\u00e7aram as festividades no castelo. O Deus ficou admirado com as lindas apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es de dan\u00e7as, m\u00fasicas, poemas. Ap\u00f3s o fim dos espet\u00e1culos, quando todos ainda estavam reunidos, ouviram passos lentos. Ao olharem para o centro do sal\u00e3o, viram uma tartaruga caminhando lentamente. Houve um grande burburinho, com risadinhas e cochichos: \u201cOlha s\u00f3 quem est\u00e1 chegando agora!\u201d; \u201cEst\u00e1 chegando tarde!\u201d; \u201cEst\u00e1 atrasada, diz pra ela que o show acabou.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A tartaruga seguiu caminhando at\u00e9 chegar a Indra. \u201c\u00d3 senhor, sei que estou atrasada, mesmo assim gostaria de mostrar minha arte ao Deus Shiva.\u201d O rei concedeu o pedido, mas os artistas sentiram-se ofendidos e partiram para atacar o animal. Rapidamente, a tartaruga recolheu sua cabe\u00e7a e seus membros para dentro do casco a fim de se defender.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shiva ent\u00e3o se aproximou da tartaruga. Estava maravilhado com sua capacidade para recolher os sentidos e dominar a mente. \u201cA partir de hoje\u201d, disse o Deus, \u201cvoc\u00ea estar\u00e1 sempre \u00e0 minha frente.\u201d Desde ent\u00e3o a tartaruga passou a fazer parte do templo de Shiva.<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assim como a tartaruga, estamos a todo momento sendo atacados, bombardeados pelas coisas do mundo externo. \u201cNossos sentidos est\u00e3o constantemente querendo ir para fora. Mas, no yoga, aprendemos que eles precisam ir para dentro e habitar esse mundo interno\u201d, explicou Pedro.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Esse movimento em dire\u00e7\u00e3o ao nosso interior, no entanto, n\u00e3o pode ser acompanhado de um encolhimento: \u201cAo encolher-se, voc\u00ea perde o poder de recolher-se. Quanto mais voc\u00ea se recolhe de forma atenta, sem se encolher, mais voc\u00ea percebe que \u00e9 poss\u00edvel se expandir internamente. E apenas quando come\u00e7amos a habitar este interior \u00e9 que o senhor Shiva come\u00e7a a se aproximar de n\u00f3s.
