O Guru do Guruji, Krishnamacharya, introduziu certos asanas que poderiam ser praticados por uma mulher durante sua gravidez, mas foi o Guruji quem fez um minucioso programa com uma s\u00e9rie de asanas que incluem posturas em p\u00e9, invertidas, posturas supinadas, assim como retroflex\u00f5es que podem ser praticados por uma mulher durante os diferentes est\u00e1gios de sua gravidez. Em tempos antigos eram proibidas de fazer as tarefas dom\u00e9sticas para que pudessem descansar e relaxar. Por isso, eram orientadas a \u201cevitar a pr\u00e1tica de yoga&#8221;. As quest\u00f5es que emergem nos dias atuais s\u00e3o: \u00e9 poss\u00edvel uma mulher descontinuar suas atividades e \u201cdescansar\u201d cada m\u00eas? Ela pode descansar e relaxar se ela \u00e9 inquieta ou h\u00e1 uma melhor forma de relaxar para que tenha uma experi\u00eancia de bem estar f\u00edsico e mental?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mulheres que sofriam de problemas cr\u00f4nicos como dor nas costas, c\u00f3licas abdominais, dor de cabe\u00e7a e descarga profunda durante a menstrua\u00e7\u00e3o frequentemente perguntavam ao Guruji se os asanas poderiam gerar algum al\u00edvio. Guruji ent\u00e3o introduziu o conceito de praticar asanas durante a menstrua\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Certos asanas praticados durante o per\u00edodo menstrual aliviam as dores e o desconforto das mulheres. Posturas supinadas e flex\u00f5es relaxam e acalmam o c\u00e9rebro, removem a fadiga e d\u00e3o \u00e0s mulheres a for\u00e7a para continuar com suas atividades rotineiras. Tens\u00e3o pr\u00e9-menstrual e desordens menstruais podem ser superadas com a pr\u00e1tica regular de asanas.
