A dor ci\u00e1tica ocorre devido \u00e0 rigidez dos isquiotibiais e, mais importante, dos m\u00fasculos abdutores. A dor desaparece quando esses m\u00fasculos ficam flex\u00edveis. Todas as posturas em p\u00e9 alongam os m\u00fasculos da coluna. Movimentos rotacionais combinados com flex\u00e3o s\u00e3o muito \u00fateis para prolapso de disco p\u00f3stero-lateral. Geralmente a flex\u00e3o \u00e9 evitada, mas existem maneiras especiais de mover o corpo sem perigo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sirsasana <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">nas cordas aumenta o espa\u00e7o do disco e diminui a dor nos m\u00fasculos. Os movimentos c\u00f4ncavos s\u00e3o bons para a coluna, mas devem ser realizados sem contrair os m\u00fasculos da coluna.
