A postura tem que ser ajustada de tal forma que os v\u00e1rios \u00f3rg\u00e3os, articula\u00e7\u00f5es e ossos estejam devidamente posicionados para que ocorram altera\u00e7\u00f5es fisiol\u00f3gicas. A distribui\u00e7\u00e3o do peso corporal deve ser uniforme nas articula\u00e7\u00f5es e nos m\u00fasculos, caso contr\u00e1rio, podem ocorrer les\u00f5es.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Yoga Terap\u00eautico \u00e9 a execu\u00e7\u00e3o de v\u00e1rias posturas de yoga para o tratamento de dist\u00farbios m\u00e9dicos. Um dos desenvolvimentos chave no Yoga Terap\u00eautico foi a inven\u00e7\u00e3o de props pelo Guruji Yogacharya B. K. S. Iyengar. Esses props ajudam o paciente a fazer qualquer postura sem esfor\u00e7o. Asanas podem causar ou aliviar doen\u00e7as. Por exemplo, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sirsasana <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pode causar ou aliviar o glaucoma, enquanto <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sarvangasana <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pode causar ou aliviar a espondilite cervical. Cada asana tem uma forma espec\u00edfica para a qual o corpo deve ser adaptado e n\u00e3o o asana ao corpo. A excitabilidade de um neur\u00f4nio \u00e9 inversamente proporcional ao seu grau de atividade. Portanto, o sono \u00e9 um modo natural de rejuvenescimento \u00e0 medida que o t\u00f4nus simp\u00e1tico \u00e9 reduzido. As importantes mudan\u00e7as bioqu\u00edmicas que fornecem energia imediata ao corpo precisam de pesquisas aprofundadas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O envelhecimento leva \u00e0 deposi\u00e7\u00e3o nas art\u00e9rias e veias, o que impede o fluxo do sangue. Os asanas limpam constantemente o sistema circulat\u00f3rio, de modo que n\u00e3o se formam dep\u00f3sitos nas paredes dos vasos sangu\u00edneos.
