14th New Year's Retreat at the Iyengar Yoga Center Florianopolis.
Every human being, in some way, is in search of freedom!
Freedom of movement, financial freedom, freedom of expression, freedom of thought… Where do we look for this freedom? How can we find true freedom?
Yoga allows us to conquer freedom in its most diverse areas: in the physical, through freedom in our movements and in the health of our body; in the mental, through the freedom of our thoughts and the intelligence we achieve in our studies; in the freedom of our heart, through the joy, peace and love that flood us; and finally, the freedom of our Soul, which, with a free body, mind and heart, can take flight, freeing itself from the shackles of the ego.
At that moment, the Yogi understands that true freedom is when the ego falls apart. Freedom is synonymous with light, conscience, love. Just as darkness disappears before light, the ego disappears before consciousness, and then there is freedom, Moksha, Nirvana, Samadhi.
Let the Light of Yoga illuminate your new year.
You are welcome to join 5 days practicing Yoga, with Meditation, Pranayamas, Asanas, studies of the Holy Scriptures, Kirtan and a sea bath, with Pedro Pessoa and Camila De Lucca.
Food
We offer a healthy, balanced vegetarian diet, with gluten and lactose free options and for vegans. We try to use quality products, and the food is prepared by a special team, where all the members try to put the best of themselves into what they do.
Without Accommodation
Centro Iyengar Yoga Florianópolis offers some accommodation options: triple, double, single rooms or community rooms for 4 people, all with bathroom. In addition to an area for camping with a collective bathroom.

This will be the start day of the New Year's Retreat! For those staying at the Iyengar Yoga Florianópolis Center, check-in will start at 2 pm. This will be a day for you to settle down, rest from the trip and if you want to take a swim in the sea. The practice room will be open. Dinner will be served at 19:00 and then we will have the Puja (ceremony) to open the Retreat.
